So far the battery has not died and I have used them in about 6 movies for about 10 hours total so battery life is good. There is a bright and dim setting which is great for movies. The only thing I don’t like is that sometimes it’s hard to change the hooks.
I absolutely love this and have already gotten so spoiled I can't use my regular hooks. Definitely recommend, it comes with a handy little wrench tool to change the tips out too.
If you have never used a lighted crochet hook before you need to get yourself one of these kits. I have used these crochet hooks to crochet in the back of a dark car on long trips. They also are terrific to use if you are crocheting with black or very dark yarn because the light allows you to see your stitches when you slide the hook through the yarn. Also the handle has two different light intensities and the handle holds a charge for a long time.
